Actual offers stemming from a physical evaluation may differ from our preliminary quote based on information provided by the seller and/or current market conditions. Crown Jewelers does not provide written appraisals.

Limitation of Liability

This limitation of liability shall be binding on the customer/seller and any third party, including but not limited to, customer's/seller's, successors, insurance carriers and any other individual or entity asserting any right or claim relating to this transaction.

In no event shall Crown Jewelers be liable to any third party, including any insurance carrier. Crown Jewelers shall not be liable for any subrogation claim brought by customer's/seller's insurance carrier and, by submitting an item to Crown Jewelers, customer/seller expressly and specifically waives any such subrogation claim on his or her behalf as well as on the behalf of his or her insurance carrier.

Crown Jewelers' liability is and shall be expressly and specifically limited to the LEAST of the following sums:

1. The liquidation value placed on the item by Crown Jewelers in Crown Jewelers' sole discretion.
2. One third (1/3) of the appraised value of the item(s) according to an appraisal done by an independent accredited appraiser submitted by a customer/seller to Crown Jewelers, which appraisal was issued not more than 5 years prior to the shipment and not after shipment of the item(s) to Crown Jewelers.
3. The sum of $1,000.00.

The customer/seller expressly acknowledges and agrees that Crown Jewelers' liquidated value shall be conclusive and binding and further, that in no event shall Crown Jewelers' Liability exceed $1,000.00.

Crown Jewelers shall not be liable to anyone for any damages, including but not limited to, incidental, consequential, punitive, loss of profit or opportunity, other than as set forth herein above.

By submitting the item, customer/seller explicitly accepts this limitation of liability.

Phone / Email Release Statement

Once the seller accepts the purchase price verbally, or electronically, the transaction is considered binding. Sellers interacting with Crown Jewelers should assume conversations might be monitored and/or recorded for quality assurance. A verbal or electronic acceptance by seller denotes immediate transfer of title to Crown Jewelers. Seller acknowledges that they had previous free and complete title to merchandise sold.

Return Insurance Liabilities

Parties offering merchandise for sale to Crown Jewelers understand and accept that they will be offered the fair market wholesale value. If an item is returned to a seller, Crown Jewelers will insure the item for no more than the amount offered by Crown Jewelers regardless of what it was insured for inbound by the seller unless otherwise notified by email prior to return shipment. Crown Jewelers is not responsible for items lost or delayed during return shipment.

Choice of Law, Waiver, and Claims

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Crown Jewelers' failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Agreement will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of this Agreement remain in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Services must be filed within ninety (90) days after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred. Any such claim or cause of action must be filed in the State of California.

Requirements For Use

All users MUST be at LEAST 18 years of age or older in order to conduct business with Crown Jewelers.
