Payment amounts are shown per gram. There are 31.1 grams in 1 troy ounce of metal. Simply multiply the estimated number of grams you have of each material by the prices above to determine the approximate value of your precious metal. To give you the best price, we consider your total combined weight in calculating payments when selling mixed gold lots.

ALERT |
Many buyers do not publish their prices for quantities less than 10 oz. and many fail to publish or quote their prices period. Maybe that's because they don't want you to know how little they are paying for your precious metals. If you're comparison-shopping, and a competitor doesn't publish their prices for less than 10 ounces, beware! If a competitor doesn’t publish their price at all, then use extreme caution! At Jewelry2Cash, we proudly publish our buying prices for precious metals. You will be hard pressed to find a company out there who consistently pays more than we do!
Be wary of firms quoting higher prices, since they are most likely quoting a price per pennyweight and not per gram. A lot of buyers fool consumers into thinking they are getting paid more per unit, when it just isn't true. There are 20 pennyweights in an ounce, so of course the price per unit is higher, since there are 31.1 grams in an ounce. Please make sure you do an apples to apples comparison, based upon the total price being paid, not just the per unit price. If a buyer does quote per pennyweight and you want to do the gram conversion, simply divide their per unit price by 1.555 and you will have the per gram price. Thus, a buyer offering $10 per pennyweight is the same as a buyer offering $6.43 per gram. Knowing this little trick could net you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars more when selling your precious metals.
